ParticipantHi Perry ,if your on plan 3 your protein aim is 32g of protein per meal expect post workout and 4oz of chicken is 25g of protein. The recipe makes 6 skewers or 6 servings. In the nutrl infor for this reciepe it says each skewer is 17g of protein when made as directed(i put 2.5-3oz actual chicken on my skewers to get 17g protein)
i can totally see how on plan 3 the 2lp is confusing when it also says 2 servings(i read this to mean 2 skewers, Maybe Nicole or someone in admin will clarify soon as iam sure lots of members have the same quirey
Would love to hear which other protiens you use to change this up as i might give yor idea a go too.
take care DONNADonna Oliver
ParticipantHi Perry i dont know if this will help until some else gets back to you,
iam on plan 2 and a serving is 1 skewer (1LP) for me, the recipe makes 6 servings from 16 oz(1lb) of chicken so for me each skewer has 2.5 oz of chicken on it so if you are on plan 3 i work that out to be 2.5 x2 so 5oz of chicken per meal plan 3 would only get 3 servings per recipe as made.working on 1 oz equals 25g (uk)
I didnt quite understand what you meant by you wanted exchange for chicken breast as this is what the recipe uses.
Hope it helps a little – DonnaDonna Oliver
Participantwhen you follow the vidoe link for each exercise under the video clip it lists all the alternative exercise, i did lying leg raise instead of hanging leg raise

ParticipantHi Nicole,
thanks for getting back to us, the missing information or incorrect information is on plan 1 phase 1. for those people that are saving it for future use. you will see that meal 4 onwards including the post workout meal are stated as phase 1 plan 2 meals macros and also the second page containing meals 4 on wards and the breakdown of macros states its for plan 2 phase 1
all the other phases for plan 1 look good. hope that helps.also good luck with your triathlon training, my husband is training for a Iron man which takes place this next weekend and its been all consuming what with me doing my Nicole challenges and him doing his, but hopefully its setting a good example for our daughter that even if your the other side of 50 you can still set your self fitness challenges.

ParticipantWell done you for not jumping on the cardio train. If it was me I would just start right back on with your meals as per the plan and give your self a high five for not going off plan for two meals or the whole day.
Also when you get those urges to eat off plan next time you will remember how it made you want to slip into old habits.Donna Oliver
ParticipantCheers that’s great to know have you frozen the banana bread at all
Donna Oliver
ParticipantHi i made the muffins too and agree they where thick to get out of the mixer/blender they didn’t rise very much at all, if at all. they where quite dense but so soft to eat i have frozen some so i will be curious to see how they defrost, but i did enjoy them and would make again.

ParticipantToday Sunday i will be cooking my sweet potato mash but leaving it in the container as 4 servings and take out what i need as i go along, cooking fish, chicken, turkey mince again not portioning up until i need it the night before, i havent got a lots of space in the fridge for lots of tupperware containers,
i need to yet make the prawn recipe so cant help on that one, i cook 1 portion of my oat bran and eggs the night before and just loosen the oat bran with water before i goes back in the microwave to warm up. i made a batch of the waffles and froze them last week not sure if i will make them this week yet.
Take care DonnaDonna Oliver
ParticipantQuote “Those people who cheat will have to answer to themselves one day”.
A bit strong i think, people may via off course for all kinds of reasons. and learning from it is part of the process.

ParticipantThe seconds App is good, but if you want it to save your timers after each use you will have to go for the paid version. Once its set up by you ( this can be a process )it speaks over your music to tell you which actual exercise is coming next counts you down for rest periods etc. you can also choose certain songs to play for certain exercises (only with certain music apps not Spotify )

ParticipantThank you Nicole,
As you will read in my replies i have taken some time to read what other people in the group have said and i am trying to more grateful for what i am achieving and what i can do on a daily basis, and try not to worry about too far in the future as lots of things can have an impact on the future that i can and cant control. 2 days of phase 2 down so far so good.
Thank you DonnaDonna Oliver
ParticipantHi Suzie,
I think i am guilty of expecting too much too soon, in fact i know i am and its something i need to work on going forward. i hope your having a good challenge, looking forward to hearing all about it over the next four weeks. Take care Donna.Donna Oliver
ParticipantMaureen Thank you, your words are very true. i didn’t reply to everyone straight away as it was quite overwhelming the support i received so i had to take some time to process what everyone
had said, it was hard and a little humbling, i thought about actually how lucky i was to have a disease free physical body that can move how i want it too, i have the choice to be able to exercise and be able to take part in this challenge. i agreed with myself that i am going to try and take one day at a time and try to keep track of the things i am doing well each day, after all if i put in the best i can at each meal and each training session i will get more then i will if i do nothing.
Thank you again DonnaDonna Oliver
ParticipantMorning Wendy, Yes your right a low body fat was not a god place for my particular body to be for the period of time it was, especially when your entering peri menopause any way but that,s another story.
It was never my goal to go their it just got out of control.
Having spoken about this issue on here has made me question who i am doing this(not the challenge but the lifestyle i think i should be following) for me or the approval of others, and i think it is both but maybe a little too much the approval of others that’s what i need to work on, so as i mentioned to Rachel i going to try and keep a gratitude list over the next few weeks to list all the positive things from my prospective. One for today is i feel like i have had a big hug from people i have never met and it felt nice even if i did make me cry a little, they where tears of thank you for understanding.
DonnaDonna Oliver
ParticipantMorning Rachel, i hope you had a nice weekend and enjoyed the re feed meal if you had one.
Having read all the replies to my post blew me away and made me feel very lucky to have such support from people i have never met and probably never will. I took some time over the weekend to think about how far i have come since 2014 in a positive sense rather then focusing on what i havent yet achieved. I have just watched Nicole’s Phase 2 Video and the end sentence “Don’t look back and think about what you could have achieved” hit a chord so i am going to deal with phase 2 -1 day at a time and keep a list of 2 or so items each day i did well in regards to the challenge.
Have a great week Donna -
