Two of the best days of my life were when I married the man of my dreams, and the second was when our son was born…Today came the third day I will call one of the best days of my life…..The day my surgeon said to me my pathology report came back NEGATIVE!!!! NEGATIVE!!! Oh those words made me cry & smile all at the same time ☺️💝💕👍😉💕
So what is a girl to do when she gets such wonderful news ??? well she does a little retail therapy with one of her “Besties” of course ..and gets back in the gym…😉👍💝💪💝😉💝💕

They have scheduled my surgery for February 12th..as long as my pathology reports come back ok I will be doing 4-6 weeks of radiation..I continue to do my daily workouts & push harder than ever knowing I am going to be extremely limited on lifting after my surgery .. My will is stronger than ever, I stay focused on the positive 👍…I WILL finish this challenge strong & I will beat this ugly disease💪I don’t quit or give up on anything👍It’s not in my DNA!!! #Bishopfamilystrong #nevergivuponyoyrdreams #fiftyandfabulius

thank you so much for comment. Yes I struggle daily with trying to deal with my pain(some days are better than others) resistance training has been a huge help in trying to maintain muscle tone, but its my strength I feel that I am losing. I do not to aggravate my situation so I have learned to try and except my limitations, but its a hard thing for this strong willed woman to do …

Thank you for your quick response to my question, I will definitely do the leg press & leg extensions on days my shoulder/ back is not feeling well. As you can see from my picture I am also dealing with scoliosis & stenosis in my lower back ( I was standing straight in the x-ray :(..)

Is doing 20 min HITT on the stair climber a substitute?
Exp: 20 seconds as hard as I can go, then 40 seconds slow down. Do this for 20 minutes. Then I will do 10 min on treadmill to have some variety. Is that an acceptable substitute? I have on going back issues 🙁

Thank you for the information, I do have one more. I was always told doing standing side crunches with weights builds the outer obliques out not in…wouldn’t a side laying crunch focus on decreasing the outer oblique instead of increasing it? thank you for your help Sandi
