I find it less overwhelming if I stick to the same thing for a few days so I can batch cook – ie – chicken or cans of tuna, rice, microwave veg, spoonful of fat ~ boring but easy. Once I’m in a groove I’ll try one of the more involved recipes.

I weigh the cooked chicken in ounces and then divide that weight by 6. It should get you in the ballpark. Hope this helps!

Meal plan 3. Just wanted to clarify the amount for the pancake mix, as it changed a couple times last week from cups to tablespoons to actual egg whites measured out. It just seemed really runny, but I just had to cook it longer.

The recipe for the mix would be the same for everyone, correct? then I understand that I would add 6 scrambled egg whites on the side.
    Thank you!

Just a final confirmation for pancake-ageddon… according to my carton, I would be adding 1/3c plus 3 tbsp of egg whites to the recipe. I did 3 TBSP only last week, now it is super runny. Thank you!

If you have an instant pot, it is a great way to cook spaghetti squash! You don’t even have to cut it – just poke a bunch of holes in it with a knife. You can google it for the cook time.

    Hi Lisa,

No. I didn’t cook the Turkey mixture or rice ahead of time.
    Enjoy!

I ended up layering everything and putting most of the cabbage in the casserole – as much as I could fit. I am just going to skip adding the additional veggie in that meal. Cabbage is so low in calories, I don’t think it will make much of a difference. I am going to cut the casserole into 10 equal sized servings.

Thank you for posting! Did you cook the entire cabbage?
It says to cook the entire cabbage, but then it says to set aside 10 leaves.

    Thanks!!

    Hi!
I weigh the mixture before I cook it, then divide it into 4 equal weight patties. Hope that helps.

I can’t do the upright rows because of an old shoulder injury, so I substitute a DB or kettlebell high pull or a cable rope face pull.

Stir fry with non stick spray?

The amount of nutritional yeast seems like a lot, especially with no oil to mix it with. It looks like fish food to me lol
Please measure 20g and tell me what you think… 🤔🧐

Aw! I felt like that when I first started the 60 day challenge – my hair is long, (to my waist) and it was torture to brush it! LOL
It does get better, you won’t be so sore next week (ahhh!).
Try a self massage with a tennis ball, foam roller or golf/lacrosse ball.

    Good luck!!

Do you have an instant pot pressure cooker or a crock pot? You can cook it whole and then cut it in half once it’s done! The instapot cooks it in 15 mins once it comes to pressure.
I saw someone mention it recently – I went from side eyeing the spaghetti squash at the supermarket to cooking one every other day! LOL

    Here is the instapot recipe:
    https://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-cook-spaghetti-squash-in-an-electric-pressure-cooker-249805

Cut it across the middle, not stem to bottom, and you get longer “noodles”

There are a recipes for slow cooker on google too. Enjoy!

I tried using the Smith machine at my gym but the bar doesn’t go low enough because of the way the safety mechanism springs are built.
It took a bit of experimenting and I finally ended up with an Olympic 45lb BB with 10 lb rogue bumper plates as the base (add more as you need). I put a couple of step benches on each side under the plates to elevate them. That helped w the height of the bench and getting in position, and I still had full range of motion.
I was at a different gym last week where I was able to use the Smith machine,’I liked that setup, but the BB is def going to recruit more stabilizer muscles.

Check the size of Nicole’s scoop grams vs. the size of scoop grams that you have on the nutrition label. Some brands have bigger scoops!
