My first attempt at a real “Vlog” … I was not super comfortable filming this as it is not something I have done before, but hopefully you guys like it! I will get better, I promise 😉
The full-length training video of my Olympia prep Glutes/Hamstrings workout you see at the end of the video will be up later this week!
Wonderful Vlog Nicole! I really enjoyed it! I hope you do more of these. 🙂

Log in to replyWell I have seen many videos over the years- this was a great video. It is very cool to get an inside look at what life is like for an elite athlete!

Log in to replyAlan is amazing too. We wouldn’t see all you do without him.
I loved your weekend away!!’ Your man is funny! Love his humor too! Thanks for sharing
Log in to replyI’m such a huge fan of yours. I just had my first child and I’ve gotten back in the game with my meals and some supplements because I’m still getting over the heart break of not producing any milk anymore to breast feed.:( sucks but onwards and upwards. I’m young and I can still kick my own ass so supplements are just that, supplements. I can’t wait to see you on the stage this year again. You keep me so motivated. I’ve competed before and I hope to compete again. I see the squares in my stomach now but after and c section, I know I have to let all those little muscles in there grow back together but I’m giving it all I got. My 4 month old was worth all the Havock. You kept me motivated during my pregnancy also. I’ve been following you since 2010 and you’re still my absolute favorite athlete out there.
#drivefor5. Can’t wait to see you take that crown back! So cool to watch you on stage soon with my son on my lap!!!! So excited !

Log in to replyAwesome Vlog, Nicole. Which GoPro did you use to film this? Was it the Hero Session or one of the upgraded versions? I have been contemplating purchasing one myself. Thanks!
Log in to replyThis was great! Loved the authenticity and humor!
Log in to replyThis was the absolute best! Such a fun video. Not only did I learn little tid bits from you I actually laughed numerous times. Log in to replyWhen you were doing the stairs I cringed with every step (torn ACL in both knees from an accident) but I hope to one day be able to run up and down stairs like that again.
Good luck in your upcoming event.
Omg I loveddddd this Vlog!!!! Allen’s heavy breathing on the stairs was hilarious!! The music was on point and “allens favorite sandwich” was hilarious! Keep making more you two are so cute together!

Log in to replySo fun to watch!!! You are just so amazing!! I do have a random question; I always watch your meal prep and I too use the grill pan but I can never get my tilapia to stay whole like yours does…any tips. I spray the pan and I like to overcook it but it always falls apart!. Thank you and keep inspiring the world!!

Log in to replyHi Nicole! I just joined your site and I’m not sure where I should be posting questions, but I’m hoping you see this and maybe reply in your next vlog.
I did my first 2 NPC bikini shows in June and I WISH I read your post on reverse dieting at the time! I was struggling with sticking to my reverse diet and learning about macro counting at the same time. When I finally felt like I was getting it, I broke my foot at the gym 🙁 45 lb right on top of my foot lol But I’ve been doing your shoulder/back/and chest workouts and LOVE them! My question for you is how can I bounce back from failing to reverse diet properly? Although I still fit into my “skinny” clothes, my muscles are definitely not as defined and I do feel puffy and bloated, even one month later. Granted, I’ve been under considerable stress and even experienced trauma you could say, so I’m trying not to be TOO hard on myself. I just want to be as healthy as possible at the moment and focus on what I was neglecting before, because I was both unaware/uneducated, and way too frantic coming out of my shows. It’s as if I broke my foot because I didn’t have an off button or any direction after my shows – I feel as if I was even MORE stressed out and crazy post-prep than while I was in prep. I’m doing better with my macros at the moment and I don’t binge – I can force myself to stop and walk away… I honestly eat clean and wholesome foods but definitely too much at times. Any advice on this would be so appreciated! Live and learn I guess!
Best,

This was BANANAS GOOD! Loved the humor, loved the S&Pep. Behind the shoulder workout. Loved more of Allan, you guys are a team! This was a great addition. The video calls were also super. I got to see you interact in many different capacities & work outside your comfort zone, that’s always a great learning experience for me. This is an awesome thing to sprinkle in to what you’re already doing. That was a hellah sandwich Allan!
Log in to replyYour breathing is so good..your such a powerhouse …all your videos on your site are an excellent learning tool and very motivating!
Log in to replyLoved this style of Vlog from you Nicole! Very refreshing! Looking forward to more, how you structure your day, cardio, workouts, clients…great stuff!

Log in to replyNicole,
Awesome video, you did great filming it no worries at all. As far as vlogs go it really was a success! I loved how you added in a little bit of everything from your weekend.
P.S. I see you do client work? Could you email me regarding that? I am scared to get on stage and my sister in law has been begging me to do a show.
Thanks so much Nicole, I know you’re a busy woman!
Respectfully,

Nicole, I loved this vlog! Hope you do more of them. It really gives you a snapshot into incorporating you’re eating and training and trying to have a life. I think a lot of us watch your training videos and can’t imagine you getting butterflies about doing anything. But I know that I do sometimes and I’ll just remember that you do too about some things. Thank you again for all the information and inspiration.
Log in to replyLoved it!!! Thank you for being so open, honest and generous with your knowledge!
Log in to replyThat was really enjoyable to watch. My sister wants me to do a show in the Spring with her. I’m 50 and have never done one before. She recommends bikini vs. figure. Is it hard to work with someone like you via distance coaching? I live in Colorado. or is it better for a first time to get a local coach?
Thank you for the Vlog – very inspirational.
Log in to replyNicole:
Fantastic!! It was so great to see you and how hard you work. You are going to help keep me on track to my fitness goals. Thank you so much for sharing your weekend. I look forward to more videos.
Carolyn
Log in to replyNicole, I’m a fan of anything you do!!
Log in to replyLooked and watched it great… felt like a day in the life of N.W.! I did not notice a lens difference until you mentioned it. The Go Pro Cams are awesome and captured this VLOG superbly. Way to go Alan on filming those stairs, kudos to ya! The snaps of you working out went smoothly and the traveling aspect included in this VLOG made it that much better. Only issue was the hearing when in super noisy, but other then that I look forward to many more with the Go Pro Cam. Thank you for being candid and real Nicole (you too Alan) 🙂
Cannot wait for another LIVE VLOG!
Log in to replyAwesome vlog Nicol I love it, my best for you.

Hey Nicole,
Log in to replyI absolutely loved that vlog! You and Alan are adorable! I admire your willpower and focus! I was looking around to see what I missed before I joined your site, and found this video. Just looking through your video library and found this treat. Loved watching you work out at the iconic Golds in Venice. I’m sure you created quite a stir. 😉 I have often heard/read about the Santa Monica stairs but have never seen them until now…Thanks for sharing. Looks like an extremely tough workout (for me) but you made it look easy. Thanks again for sharing your weekend get away with all.
