I posted this on my Facebook page last week and thought I would add it here for those who missed it. I’m in the middle of my offseason before my Olympia prep begins in June, so I’m trying to minimize the duration of my cardio and focusing on gaining a little more muscle. I’m only doing about 25-30 minutes of cardio a day, so I like to keep the intensity high and really elevate my heart rate. I mix my cardio up quite often so I don’t get bored. This was a HIIT cardio workout I did last week. Modify as necessary as 11 miles per hour can be very fast 🙂 Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Do you do interval training day after day and do you eat breakfast prior to your morning cardio? Thanks Nicole.
Log in to replyIt varies. As far as fasted cardio, sometimes. During contest prep I do fasted cardio most of the time.

First let me start off by saying that you are my inspiration! I am competing in my very first show this year in the bikini class just to get my feet wet. I will eventually hit the stage as a figure competitor. I follow you and love your dedication! Thanks for giving women something to strive for!
I did this workout this morning and I must admit that it kicked my butt, but I absolutely loved the challenge! Keep the posts coming!!!!
