Hey guys, I’m super-excited to share this with you: last week I crossed the finish line in my first-ever triathlon! What an amazing feeling. It was a great reward after months of training.
I’ve always said it’s good to get out of your comfort zone to challenge yourself, and this was definitely outside of mine. Here are highlights from the entire weekend; from my prep the day before, to the actual swim, run, and bike ride. It was quite an experience and I’m really happy I got to share the lessons I learned on my journey with all of you.
I will definitely do another one in the future. And I got 2nd in my age group! 🙌
Congratulations Nicole!! Second-place in your first triathlon! I am so proud to be a member on your website, you are such an inspiration, you are an amazing person, don’t ever change!
Thank you so much!
Way to go Nicole. You looked great and your outcome proved that !!! Congratulations. And way to support her Allan <3
Knew you could do it! You have now officially been bitten by the triathlon bug. I started small and ended up on the Ironman start line. Will look for you there in about 3 years!
Ha! I don’t know if I can even wrap my head around that.
This video really made me smile, Nicole.
Watching you train for this goal over the past several months has motivated me to learn how to swim, actual proper swimming strokes, in 2019. 🙂 I connected with a swim coach this week and am set to start the first week of January with lessons. It’s never too late to learn something new..
Really cool to see you do this…Thanks for sharing your journey with others! Congrat’s!
That is so awesome!! Good luck to you!!
FABULOUS!!! Congratulations, Nicole! Always an inspiration ❤️
I could feel your butterflies! It’s crazy how much we need to remember for the race and how much we accumulate throughout the season lol. Congratulations on your 2nd place and look forward to seeing your next race!
Congrats Nicole. I don’t even know you but I feel so proud of how amazing you did ! Great job and keep inspiring us with your accomplishments ❤️
Super fun to watch your race day prep and actual race. Brings back some memories of several I did way back when. These videos let us see you in your own habitat and give us a glimpse of your personal life which then inspires us. Thanks! 😊
So proud of you Nicole! Stepping out of your comfort zone is so hard and you did it! When’s your next triathlon? You are one amazing lady!!!! XXOO
So awesome Nicole!!! It was fun watching your journey to reach this goal-great job!!! You are such an inspiration to so many and so down to earth–thank you for all that you provide to so many and myself!! I truly do not think you realize what an inspiration you are and how admired by so many that you are. And kuddos to Allen, he did an awesome job videoing and cheering you on! <3
Absolutely loved this! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Inspiring as always, but even more so watching you compete at something totally different. Congratulations on your finish!

Thank you so much!
VERY COOL. Congrats. These can be real fun and addictive! I’ve done a ton of these, and trained both beginners for all events of sprints as well as ironman competitions for their swim training. Have fun!
I’m training for my first full marathon and watching you train for and achieve this goal that is SO opposite of what you’ve trained for in the past has been beyond inspiring! I had tears watching this and butterflies right along with you before the start! Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us and congratulations on your well earned 2nd place finish! I’ll probably watch this again before my race as a reminder that you can achieve those things you never dreamed you would. Much respect!
Thank you so much! It was a lot of fun and so empowering to learn something new. Best of luck with your marathon!!
