We all know the holiday season is the toughest time of year to stay on track with your fitness goals. I wanted to share my experiences with you all – hopefully my approach can help some of you stay motivated and on track, while still enjoying time with loved ones and friends 🙂
Happy Holidays everyone!
How about a picture of you and Alan together? It seems like he is part of our online family too.
Log in to replyLOL we will see if I can get him to do it. He hates being on social or the website lol
Log in to replyHi Nicole!
I wanted to thank you for all of your advice and the time you put into your website!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family and safe travels!! Looking forward to an awesome 2017!!
Log in to replyThanks for that update, it made me feel like I could tackle the holidays. Can’t wait for the next transformation challenge ?
Log in to replyLMAO! I am SOOOOOOOO hearing you on the Italian family gatherings – or rather… food!
I have Italian heritage on both mine and my partner’s side so double whammy hahaha! However, I have my goals so I am going to be reminding myself of those every day.
I do wish that the fitlosophy guys did the journals in an electronic format though. It would be a cool way to have it with you everywhere you went but I’ve sort of made up my own now, just never looks as cool as theirs! LOL!
Anyway, Thank YOU Nicole too for your advice, patience, time and just for being you. And Alan and your growing team too as I’m sure you all work as hard as each other to make this website what it is.
Happy holidays to you everyone and travel safe whatever your plans are.
Log in to replyHey !!! Love the video !
Is the 60 day challenge going to be the same workouts and nutrition plan as the 30 day challenge ?
Log in to replyHi Rebecca,
Log in to replyThe 60 Day will have completely new nutrition and workouts.
Thank-you so much for all that you do. This had helped me tremendously. I just turned 48 on Dec 14th. I’m a mother of 2 grown sons and a Grandmother of 2 beautiful granddaughters. My goal.is to compete in my very 1st Figure Competition in April in Raleigh NC.
Log in to replyI’m pretty excited yet a bit nervous but I know that I can do this and will bring my best to the stage..
Thank you again for all that you do and for being YOU.
You will do amazing! xoxo
Log in to replyHappy holidays! One question, I’ve been training and building my shoulders for about 6 months twice a week, now that I have them where I want them is it ok to train them once a week while still keeping what I’ve built?
Log in to replyYes of course 🙂 I typically train shoulders once a week.
Log in to replyHave a fantastic Christmas Nicole! See you at Phat Camp in January in Calgary!! 🙂
Log in to replyCan’t wait to see you!
Log in to replyYes–your motivation discussion is key–I’m trying to stay focused on growth too; have reduced cardio to 2x per week. I”m exploring yoga now too… so important to enhance muscle remodeling with yoga.
Looking forward to the next 60 day challenge. Thanks Nicole. Merry Christmas to you and Alan.
Log in to replyThanks for the update! Merry Christmas to you and all of your staff.
Log in to replyThank u Nicole … have a very Merry Christmas ? ?
Log in to replyThanks – this was a huge help to me right now. I loved the 30 day challenge, but the day after it ended admitted my dad into hospice at his house (11/23) and lost him the day after Thanksgiving (11/25). Since then I’ve been struggling – my energy has been down, I haven’t wanted to eat all my food. I’ve felt like I’m in such a fog, but I make myself get up and workout – even though there have been no PR’s for me. This gives me direction to set small weekly goals for myself right now – and then get ready for the challenge starting in January!
Log in to replyI am so sorry for your loss 🙁
Log in to replyI cannot imagine the pain you feel when you lose a parent. Your motivation will come back- I promise. But in the mean time, it is ok to feel a bit low. Do the best you can to get to the gym and do the things that bring you joy. xo One day at a time.
Merry Christmas to the most genuine and beautiful spirit I know. Thank you for this, it truly inspired me to journal everyday in 2017! Can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store for you and as you continue to change lives!
Log in to replyYou are AMAZING!!!
Rachelle
Merry Christmas , Nicole …
Log in to replyHi Nicole, I’m 9 weeks out from my next comp and I’m dealing with some pretty terrible water retention just in my ass and legs.. I’m currently on 1650cals with macros 40%PRO/40%CHO20%FAT. 5 days lifting split with 1 day cardio and 1 day refeed. I have been eating 100%. Weight loss has stalled too. My water consumption is about 3-4 litres a day and my current weight is 158, I’m 5’4″ tall, my upper body is leaning out really well.
Log in to replyAny suggestions you may have would be great.
Thanks so much.
PS see you in Jan in Calgary
Nicole , You’re going to be Very busy with the 60 Day Transformation Challenge and traveling PHAT Camp’s for 2017 , is the Membership Website going too have less videos on Training hardcore Videos and Cooking Videos ?
Log in to replyNicole, I was so successful using your advice, workout and diets 3 years ago, and completely fell off the wagon. Not totally, but the gym. I became a runner and triathlete but it hindered my diet and goals. After completely slacking for a year and making excuses I decided to get back on track and sign up for the 60 day transformation. This message to your group was so so helpful. Thanks you so much and Happy New Year to you and your family. Looking forward to a great 2017 and being FIT
Log in to replyHi Nicole . Happy New Years .
Log in to replyI wanted to ask you what are your thoughts on a ketogenic diet for weight lose and burning fat ? Some of my friends have done it and I’ve seen them loose weight but just the fact of eating fats all day makes me nervous. Thank you in advance for your response .
Hi, Nicole.
Your videos are super helpful. Thank you.
Can you please share the make and model of your Stepmill in your home gym?
Log in to replyWhen can we buy the January 16th challenge? My Mom wants to get it for me as a Christmas gift! WooHoo. Thank you Nicole!!
