We all have times when we’re unprepared and need to find healthy food options on the go. One of the easiest, quickest places to do that is at a 7-Eleven – or any convenience store. In this video, I break down what to eat and what to avoid when you are looking to keep it clean at one of these locations.
If you missed the previous Eat Out, Eat Clean videos, here they are! And if you have any places you want me to try next time, let me know in the comments section below 🙂
• PF Changs
• Cheesecake Factory
• Sushi
lol! Nicole you’re awesome and funny. 🙂
this was a great video as sometimes I am in a similar shop here in Australia and in a pinch.
Log in to replyThank you heaps for this – specially that protein bar break down.
I loved this – I travel every day for my job and often run into situations where I need to make a smart choice. I really appreciated your feedback on the Oatmeal vs the Cheerios. Based on the stats you gave on Protein bars and my own experience it would be great if you could formulate your own protein bar that fit all the criteria you mentioned plus tasted great! I would totally buy it!!!! Can you do a video coming soon on your take on sugar in food and your take on sugar alternatives?
Log in to replyI would love to see all convenience stores offer a designated clean eating area. I love when you see the basket of brown bananas and mushy apples at the register. My hubby thinks I should start this as a business. Just like having a drive through with chicken breast grilled, fresh fish and steamed veg’s. LOL
Log in to replyThat would be amazing. I think more people would eat healthier if it was more readily available.
Log in to replyI can hear you when you are outside but the minute you go inside your voice is muffled – second video I have experienced this with….
Log in to replywas all clear for me Alyssa

Log in to replyGreat video and very helpful with my busy travel/work schedule. I always prep and bring food with me but there are times when you can be in a pinch (i.e.- got stuck overnight in the Atlanta airport from a cancelled flight). Thanks! [side note, the audio was completely fine for me on my Mac, maybe it’s a mobile issue]
Log in to replyAnother vote for the motivational dance 🙂
Log in to replyThank you Nicole!
I have looked everywhere and can’t find a protein bar that fits the “At least 20g protein, less than 10g sugar and around 5-7g fat” criteria. They seem to all have ridiculous high (alcohol) sugar content and/or are high in fat. Can anyone help me out and give me the exact brand that matches this description please?
Log in to replyAlways a good reminder that you can find a healthy option nearly ANYWHERE….I usually try to keep one Quest Bar in my glove box (double chcolate chunk – lowest in calories, carbs, and fat of the Quest bars that I can find) …..out of sight, out of mind, so I don’t snack on it – but I do remeber it’s there for an emergency!
Log in to replyHi Nicole,
Log in to replyCan you go to IHOP or Denny’s to rate the foods there? Although I don’t eat there alot when I do get a craving for “Breakfast” Food I like to go there. You should do Dancing with the Stars!! lol Love it! Thanks for all you do!
