Foam rolling is a form of self-myofascial release, where you apply pressure to an area of your body to relieve pain, improve blood flow to your muscles and help with recovery. I foam roll at least once every day – we have multiple foam rollers all over the house lol – usually at night before I go to bed, while watching something on tv.
It doesn’t take long – maybe 5-10 minutes, depending on your level of soreness/stiffness – and your body will definitely thank you for it! If you haven’t foam rolled before, or if you don’t do it consistently, trust me – it’s time well spent ?
I’ve learned the importance of foam rolling within the last couple years. I wish I would have started years ago. Great video! Thank you, Nicole! 🙂
