Warming up is a crucial part of training any body part for me, but especially shoulders since I am not too far removed from a shoulder injury that sidelined me for quite some time. Check out this quick tip video to see how I warm up before every shoulder workout.
Awesome tips. Thanks

Log in to replyThanks for the warm up tips/exercises! These are great!!
Log in to replyThanks nicole!!!! I will for sure be incorporating these internal&external rotation into my warmups now. I just have one question.
I notice sometimes when doing these internal/external rotations, my right shoulder makes this weird, slight, clicking noise, and I feel this creepy, subtle “grinding” through the movement. It doesn’t hurt really. I just feels like it’s more stiff or something than my left. I’m making sure to keep it a steady and controlled movement. I am thinking it may have something to do with the fact that I am left handed. What do you think of this, and, in your opinion, do you think this should be of concern?
Log in to replyIt could be an impingement but I have no idea. Be very careful to use proper form when lifting and make sure to warm up really good. If it bothers you more in the future get it checked out right away.

I like this shoulder warmup. Thanks for the info.
The sound is lost after the lying down portion of internal/external rotation.

Log in to replyTrained with FOUR trainers…never once did any provided this info…just a 5 minute walk warmup no matter what the workout was.
Log in to replyThank you for this! Having had shoulder impingement, I would have benefited from this a long time ago.
Wow! That is horrible. I am glad you have access to it now xo
