It’s cardio acceleration time! This is an intense workout – and a great way to combine your weight-training and cardio to get in and out of the gym a little faster.
If you don’t have an interval timer dowloaded already, here is the one I am using for this workout.
This is a great time saving workout! Thanks for sharing!
Log in to replyI have a question, when will be the next challenge and for how long?
You’re welcome! Registration for the next challenge will begin in a couple weeks and the challenge will begin in Jan 🙂

Log in to replyHi Nicole,
Log in to replyHow often do you recommend the cardio acceleration workouts?
Now that the challenge is over, could we do lower body and upper body cardio acceleration workouts for a few weeks? Maybe 2 upper and 2 lower in a week to change it up?
Thank you.
Ursula
I would do 1-2 of them max a week. They are not exactly ‘muscle building’ workouts. More of a cardio/weights mix to burn more calories in a shorter period of time. They are intense if done correctly! If you are just finishing the challenge, I would continue with the same workouts if you are still feeling challenged with them 🙂
Log in to replyThis looks like it could be a lot of fun during the holidays since the schedule is so packed.
Log in to replyThanks Nicole! This looks like a challenge! I am going to do this one tonight. I will admit, I am nervous but I need something like this as I need to work legs and burn some calories. I will probably have to take a very brief rest in between sets as I have a minor heart condition, but I will finish!!
Log in to replyWell, I did this workout and was doing well until I got to the mountain climbers in Round 4. I had to take a break but then finished eventually. I really enjoyed the work out though. I will do it again this Friday and I hope to do the whole thing without stopping. It really gets the heart pumping!! 🙂
