Ah, cardio. Even for the most dedicated, watching the minutes ticking away on the treadmill or elliptical can get, let’s be honest, boring. It’s no wonder I get a lot of requests for “fun” cardio workouts to break up the monotony. Here’s a good one: we’re going to use a Bosu Ball for a…Tabata workout!
Tabata is doing an exercise for 20 seconds of work, followed by 10 seconds of rest. You do that 8 times for a total of 4 minutes. I’m going to take it a step further and change up the exercises every 2 rounds. Repeat the entire thing 4 times for a total of 20 minutes, or 6 times, for a total of 30 minutes, and so on.
Tried this today and LOVED it!!! Been looking for cardio to really get my heart rate up and this was the winner!!!
Thanks so much, Nicole!!
