Please talk about supplements you use. I’ve heard conflicting info, like BCAA’s and Glutamine should be post workout not intra workout. Now i’ve been trying that. Also having sweet potato, 4oz with coffee and protein shake pre workout(for energy), water during workout and BCAA/glutamine in water, sweet potato with egg whites, grassfed beef and veggies post workout on heavy days. On lighter days and off day veggies are only carbs. Glutamine before bed. Are supplements very important when I can eat all my meals, get good sleep and train hard?

Nicole, dude you totally ROCK!!! I’m always inspired by those who are REAL. As a mother of 5 whenever im feeling at my lowest when it come’s to my self belief i know that i can always watch your vlogs. I was currently training for my 1st ever bodybuilding comps here NZ, until a few months ago when i was told by my Osteo that i might have to wait a little longer because of an injury. I am still going to compete but will need a year to gear up towards it. I cannot wait to attend one of your Phat Camps in the nearer future. Thank you for being YOU, with much aroha all the way from NZ.
Log in to replyThank you! We are hoping to come to Australia again in April- if we do, it isn’t too far from you 🙂
Log in to replyNicole…..you look so amazing…..I can’t help but log onto your site daily just looking for new posts from you. And I check out your FB page daily as well.
I LOVE the starbucks app….I use it all the time 🙂 I’m shocked with you being a Starbucks regular that you haven’t used it before 🙂 I love walking in with a line of people and jumping right to the front. And since Giant Eagle has ‘fuel perks’, I buy my Starbucks Gift cards from Giant Eagle and get fuel perks, then load the cards to my app and then order ahead and pre-pay. I get the best of both worlds 🙂

LOVE you Nicole…..keep up the great work. Get um next year !!!!!
Okay… I keep holding out, just in case a SoCal Phat Camp is announced, but now I can’t anymore!
Log in to replyWould you PLEASE have another bootcamp in SoCal. I would even go so far as to help you plan it!!!!!
Off topic. I quite my Twitter account but still peek at my favorites. As a natural lifter I’ve incorporated beneficial exercises from all groups especially women. I enjoy women’s insights because it’s usually unenhanced & involves a level injury prevention unrecognized many times by men of the enhanced field who’s advice can cause harm & detraining to the natural male lifter, load rest recovery wise. I do hip thrusters & kickbacks as a nice polish & addition to strengthen fighting motions. Plus I believe they’re extremely beneficial to sprint speed which is dire in emergency scenarios. The trust is definitely a most masculine of motions by nature lol. Just saying I care to object the social standard of understanding being set, kindly. I’d liken it to poking fun at Jujitsu because of pressed rolling & muay thai because only girls kick. Yet one wins the day & is most certainly not scoffed in victory.
