You guys have heard me say it before – supersetting exercises is a great way ramp up the intensity of your workouts (especially legs) and kick your body’s fat-burning furnace into high gear. Supersetting with plyometrics, like I do here, takes things to another level entirely. As you’ll see, this was a tough one!
I planned out what I was going to do the morning of, and I actually had anxiety all day leading up to this workout! I knew it was going to be difficult and challenging. But the anxiety is a good thing – that’s when you know it will be a good workout 🙂
Just completed this BRUTAL leg workout! Amazing and my quads were on fire. As a matter of fact I only made it 7 on each leg for the last set of jump lunges. But to makeup for it I did add in a set of sissy squats. Not necessary, but threw it in anyway. Thanks, Nicole, I think this is my new favorite quad workout!
Log in to replyLOL you are crazy! Good work!
Log in to replyEach time I work my Quads I cramp up. Any suggestions?
Log in to replyYou may be dehydrated. Make sure you drink a lot of water and warm up really good!
Log in to replyThank you! Love that you share your workouts with us. 🙂
Log in to replyAwesome! Going to try this tonight, thanks Nicole!
Log in to replyThis looks great! Trying it tonight!!!
Log in to replyI wish I could jump up like that. Perhaps someday….
Log in to replyJust did this! I have done a circuit similar to this but doing just the lower was a great change up!! Really great workout! I say that, ask me in two days!
Log in to replylove it and will do this soon and please don’t think I am being bad but on a funny note the lady in the background at the 34 minute mark is killing me. I am super glad she is working out and learning new things which is great!! We all started somewhere.
Log in to replylove that you told us how many calories you burned!
Log in to replyI loved this workout – also the burn! The fact that you said it was about a half of a burger really hits home. Maybe gyms should put flyers up that have a picture of some popular food – followed by what you have to do to burn it off! Love those peanut M & M’s? Here’s what you need to do to try to burn them off! lol. I also agree with the jump split being a real leg burner. Those almost have me in tears when I do them. I tend to lose my planning creativity and love when I can incorporate sets like the ones you combine in your videos. Thanks so much!!
Log in to replyJust a note to say I did this workout today! Heart rate was UP and I was sweating like crazy! Felt great afterwards, though! I swapped out the good mornings and put my cable kick backs in there instead (I’m addicted to those lately). 😀 Thanks much – love that I can just watch this the night before, and DO it the next day! And, FYI – my face probably looked like yours nearing the end of this high-intensity session! Hurts so good! lol!
Log in to replyWow! That was a killer workout! Thanks for sharing.
Log in to replyLove this workout! Going to do this leg workout this week! One of your harder shoukder workouts (for me) was when you supersetted a basic lifting followed by one minute of the same movement with the bands, like weighted shoulder presses followed by 1 min of shoulder presses w/ bands, same w/ lateral raises and front raises. This is sort of the same concept w/ incorporating a heavy strength movement followed by an intense, fast-twitch muscle movement. LOVE IT ♡
Log in to replyThat one was hard too! I love mixing it up like that. Let me know how you like this one 🙂
Log in to replyI Love your videos! About to go do this now! Thank you!
Log in to replyDid this workout this morning – holey shaky legs Batman!!
Log in to replyGreat workout! Thanks for the ideas with adding plyo moves
Log in to replyI wish my gym had that butt blaster machine! Thanks for another work out video! Love them.
Log in to replyWe will do a series soon on alternative exercises for equipment your gym doesn’t have.
Log in to replyMy gym doesn’t have one either but I use the lying leg curl machine, kneel down in front of the padded leg part (on the ground) and push up with the foot, hard to explain here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyVRPZDDnq4 Works really well!
Log in to replyThank you for typing this into workout cards! This way I don’t forgot anything in the morning lol. Can’t wait to try this one tomorrow!!
Log in to replyThanks for sharing, I’ll be doing lower body plyometric tomorrow.
Log in to replyOMG ! The scariest thing about that workout is that it only burnt off about half s burger ! That’s a reality check right there ! Awesome workout, I love this type of training ! Very nicely color co ordinated as usual Nic xx
Log in to replyHI ladies,
Log in to replyI wonder what is alternative for the butt blaster machine when your gym doesn’t have one
Yes! I’m interested in the same thing. No butt blaster for me either.
Log in to replyI know it isn’t the same as Nicole answering this but you could use bands to do the movement or use the leg extension machine and knee in front of it putting your foot on the pad that would normally sit on your chins and kick up in the same movement. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=leg+extension+for+booty+kickbacks&FORM=VIRE4#view=detail&mid=824582DE30BCAB34C1B9824582DE30BCAB34C1B9 or this way https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=leg+extension+for+booty+kickbacks&FORM=VIRE10#view=detail&mid=282F7168B04336F63624282F7168B04336F63624

Log in to replyThank you for this workout Nicole, lol but man I needed help walking out the gym this morning LOL.!!!
Log in to replyWhat a great challenging workout Nicole – love it all, I do these as spot training, but now going to do it exactly as you did here, so effective! I find I sweat so much when I incorporate plyo also!
Log in to replyOMG this workout is amazing. Still feeling it a bit after 3 days but in a good way. Thank you Nicole!
Log in to replyI literally felt like I could lie down and go to sleep after this workout. Holy Moly. 24 hours later and I still can’t lift my arms (not sure how that works when it was a leg workout…but that’s how wiped I am!) LOL Thanks for the smashing.
Log in to replyLOL Awesome!
Log in to replyThanks Nicole – half a burger – awesome!
Log in to replyI love your outfit! This looked killer! Good job on pushing through.

Log in to replyAnother great video Nicole! And great music! Will you be doing a playlist for October?xx
Log in to replyAt the beginning of this video, I noticed you said you were planning your workout and typing on your phone. Do you use a certain weightlifting app? If so what are some more apps that you use? Thanks again!
Log in to replyThank you dear Nicole for making my legs on fire, I can hardly walk normal, it woke me up in the middle of night:”saying hi your legs had an awesome workout now go back to sleep…..if you can.” Hahahaha
Log in to replyI did this workout yesterday!! Omg it was tough, especially the squats!!! Loved it though thank you x
Log in to replyOuch!!! That’s all I’ve been saying for the last two days! Thanks, Nicole! I set up the box next to the leg press and thought it looked too low…boy, was I glad I only had two risers under that puppy by the time I got to the box jumps!! Great workout and loved the challenge! Thanks for sharing!!!
Log in to replyOH MY GOODNESS my butt is killing me. Great workout.
Log in to replyThis workout looks intense! So going to try this next leg day!
Log in to replyP.S. What kind of watch is that that you’re always wearing. I need something like that to calculate my heart rate and calories burned etc.! Thanks Nicole!

Log in to replyAmazing workout! On my way to burn this one up now! I will let you know the post workout comment later. Thanks for sharing these workouts. I’ve been training and competing for a long time but it’s refreshing to mix some things up! Nicole, you rock, both inside and out!
Log in to replyDid this workout two days ago and my butt still hurts! Awesome workout!
Log in to replyCan I do pistol squat in place of single leg press? I workout at home in my garage gym, I don’t have leg press machine.
Log in to replyYes that would work. Just be sure to sit into your heel
Log in to replyDoing this in about 30 minutes, I’ll let you know how it goes. You are my spirit animal Nicole. I am seriously so grateful for the content you provide. Thank you!!!
Log in to replyI gave this a try today (minus the jumping lunges – they tend to bother my knee). My legs and booty are still shaking and I’m sure will be sore for days. This may be my new favorite lower body workout. I’m so glad I found your page!
Log in to replyLove this workout!! 😀
Log in to replyThis was probably my favourite outfit so far lol those shoes my goodness
Log in to replyWow just watching her squat that perfectly hurts my knees She must have amazing knees! Any advice for us 40yr olds who’ve run too much in their life lol I love to lift but I feel limited at times when it comes to knees and low back strength
Log in to replyYour lower body plyometric superset is awesome. I did it before, but this time, with more intensity. Keep them coming, they are the best out there.
Log in to replyYou amaze me and I want to be able to do what you do.
Thanks for posting these full length workout. It keeps my rest period shorter.
Jill
Hi Nicole
Log in to replyI used your lower body plyometrics for the first time..i have to say, ive been training for 33 years and never felt as trashed after a leg workout as i was thismorning. My legs were so tight i could not tense my quads…my glutes are that sore i can hardly sit…i used minimal weight for first time..absolutely fantastic…thankyou
LOL Plyo are killer!
Log in to replyThis really is one of the most challenging leg workouts!!! Thanks Nicole. Quick question if I may. What can I change in my workout so my legs stop looking like a tree trunk and more like those well defined legs we all want.
Log in to replyYeah I will try to make modifications but a lot of these exercises are not going to work for me and my bad knee
Log in to replyDo the best you can 🙂
Log in to replyI will Nicole I am a day behind due to getting ready for my new job so trying it today! I will report back
