Hi Nicole,
Log in to replyI love your new website and you training/ nutrition videos!
Keep them coming!
I am going to sign up for the July19th show!
I trained with you for the John Simmons classic back in 2011!
I had back surgery for a herniated disc and ready to get back on stage!
Inspired by your hard work I am up for the challenge!
Great! See you on July 19th, good luck with your prep!
Log in to replyHey Nicole thanks for the video. Quick question do you workout with heavy weight all the time or do you alternate between heavy and light….. strip sets, or something totally different? Thanks
Log in to replyI alternate, I always like to switch things up. In the offseason I will tend to lift heavier than I will during a contest prep.
Log in to replyDo you lift lighter/higher reps during prep purely for calorie burn? Why don’t you continue to lift heavy? Thanks 🙂
Log in to replyThank you for the video.
Log in to replyNicole will you be doing a full chest workout including what you do for your fst7 ending? I love your workouts and look forward to your videos. and also excited that myself and 2 friends are signed up for the Phat Camp in Las Vegas in October!!! Can’t wait to meet you and Jen!!
Log in to replyAwesome, see you in Las Vegas! I will be doing more full workouts once I start my Olympia prep. I don’t incorporate FST-7 into every workout, usually just for body parts I feel I need to bring up like shoulders, upper back and glutes. But I can cover FST-7 in a future video for sure 🙂
Log in to replyLove doing these. Thanks for the upload:)
Log in to replyHow do you feel about pause bench press and doing flat db press on the floor rather than a bench? Do you think this can make you stronger?
Log in to replyI think adding a pause makes the exercise extremely difficult. It is not something I would recommend to a beginner in the weight room. It is a great way to increase the intensity of your workout and ultimately increase your strength. I don’t feel that I get a good range of motion doing a flat press laying on the floor- I prefer doing it on the bench.
Log in to replyFantastic! I never thought of doing cable flyes with the pulleys at the bottom. I have chest tomorrow, I’ll try that out.
Log in to replyI have been working out for a # of years.
Will you be posting intermediate/advanced workouts on this site or is this site just strictly for beginners?
Log in to replyAwesome! Do you ever work just arms? If a person wants to put more mass on their arms would they wanna train them separately or does it matter?
Log in to replyI love cable flyes! I have a crappy right bicep tendon that tends to get irritated and flare up with anything barbell on chest day and with DB flyes. I usually do 3 way cable flyes with 3-4 sets of 10-15 reps starting at the bottom of the pulley, then to the middle, then the top.
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
