I did not mind this exercise as part of our program the other day, but as the sets went on I ended up bruising across my legs and goods, even though I had wrapped a pad and a towel on the bar. Is there something I should be doing differently? My lap currently looks like someone rode a road bike across it and its not that big of a deal. Thank goodness for cooler temperatures and longer hemlines.

Log in to replyThere are not a lot of exercises that are better than a hip thrust. However, you could do lunges or squats to target your glutes.
