I just joined your website and few months ago and I love it!!!! I will be entering into my first figure competition in April and I have to say I am a bit overwhelmed but extremely excited. I am a very seasoned bodybuilder and stay in show shape all year round. I constantly get asked all the time when my show is so I stay pretty lean throughout the year. I have the workouts down but it is the diet and nutrition that scares me. I want to do this right while maintaining my muscle. I see so many competitors that step on stage way too lean and skinny for me. If you could possibly post some more information pertaining to diet and nutrition for show prep that would be very helpful. I did see your post on how to use a food scale to measure your macros which was very helpful.

Log in to replyI just joined a week ago and I love this site. You provide a lot of great informative information. I find that contest diet also scares me. I competed 2 years ago in a figure show. Did great for my first time at 46. I had a coach but I had a lot of issues with the diet. Had my 6 knee surgery last year so I had to take last year off of the contest. Shooting to compete this year. If you could also provide information about diet and trouble points you have encountered yourself. Things you did to correct the issues. Body fat % you maintained throughout the weeks to the show date. This would help us understand if we are loosing to much to fast or if we’re not on track. Also the importance of having the right coach in the process. There are a lot of people that may not coach individuals correctly with the diet.
